Executors Visit Szilvia Péter Szabó Home Over Unpaid Debt
In a significant development regarding a long-standing financial dispute, executors arrived at the Budapest home of singer Szilvia Péter Szabó on Thursday morning. The visit was prompted by a court order involving lighting technician Károly Vona, who claims that the NOX performer owes him nearly HUF 30 million for unpaid work.

Károly Vona, a seasoned professional in the music industry, has been trying to recover a debt of approximately HUF 25 million awarded to him by the Capital Court. Despite the court’s ruling in February, Vona stated that Péter Szabó has not settled the debt, which has accrued additional interest and fees, pushing the total amount to roughly HUF 29 million.

On Thursday, Vona was present when the bailiffs approached Szabó’s residence, accompanied by his lawyer. Unfortunately, attempts to reach an agreement were unsuccessful, as sources reported that Szilvia Péter Szabó had locked herself in a room and refused to respond.
The ongoing conflict has highlighted the complexities that can arise within the entertainment industry, particularly regarding contracts and payments for services rendered. Vona has maintained a public stance that he is not willing to give up on collecting the debt, despite the lack of communication from the singer over the past two years.
In previous remarks, Vona has indicated disbelief at Szabó’s circumstances, noting that although she appears publicly with ease—participating in television programs and enjoying vacations—her financial situation remains in stark contrast to her public image. “Behind the glittering life, a heavy debt does not look good, and hardly anyone, including myself, understands how she has nothing officially in her name,” he stated, reiterating his determination to seek resolution in the matter.
This unfolding situation serves as a reminder of the importance of financial transparency and accountability in professional relationships within the entertainment field. As the dispute continues, many will be watching to see how it evolves and whether Vona will be able to recover the financial compensation awarded by the court.
